ReplyDeleteThe Leica images of the little guy are just gorgeous! And I love the last SEM image because I know its hard to focus at that magnification and specially it being a curvy surface!
ReplyDeleteThose pics did come out really nice. I wonder if on some future pictures to get a focus point where the eyes connect to the head. It barely looks like there is an eye socket, just that the hexagons are merged with the head.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the lacewing, did you take any pictures of the wings? The shape of its eye is very peculiar, to me, it looks like a microphone. I think you did a great job on the SEM images. You should post more.
